HKDAP

HKDAP (“HKD At Par”) is the first regulated HKD-referenced stablecoin issued under the oversight of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority pursuant to the Stablecoins Ordinance (Cap. 656). With a redeemable par value of HK$1.00 each, HKDAP is fully backed by a pool of high-quality, highly liquid reserves held in a legally segregated trust for the benefit of holders. HKDAP is designed as an open, general-purpose settlement and payment instrument natively compatible with tokenised infrastructure, offering enhanced efficiency, programmability and traceability. HKDAP is issued by Anchorpoint Financial Limited, one of the first entities granted a stablecoin issuer licence (licence number FRS01) by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and a subsidiary of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited.
